PIUSYS mainly produces what kinds of polyurethane products and systems?
PIUSYS systems are applied in building and cold‑storage insulation, automotive interior and structural parts, household and commercial appliances, industrial and infrastructure binders for roads and flooring, and localized solutions for the Vietnamese market.

PIUSYS systems are applied in building and cold‑storage insulation, automotive interior and structural parts, household and commercial appliances, industrial and infrastructure binders for roads and flooring, and localized solutions for the Vietnamese market.

Xcore System is a high‑performance semi‑noncombustible and non‑combustible polyurethane insulation brand for buildings, supplied as spray, board, and panel cores that meet strict fire‑safety requirements. GBS (Green Binder System) is an eco‑friendly binder brand for road, floor and surface applications that focuses on reduced environmental impact and improved durability. VietPOL is a polyurethane brand localized for Vietnam, offering PU systems and polyols tailored to local industrial conditions, climate and standards through PIUSYS’s Vietnam corporation.
Compared with conventional insulation materials, PIUSYS rigid and PIR systems provide lower thermal conductivity, better dimensional stability, and options for semi‑noncombustible or non‑combustible core performance, enabling thinner structures for the same insulation level. Many systems are also engineered for improved adhesion, closed‑cell content, moisture resistance and long‑term energy efficiency in cold‑storage and building envelopes.
Xcore and related systems are designed to comply with Korean semi‑noncombustible and core non‑combustible criteria, using tests such as cone calorimeter (KS F ISO 5660‑1), gas toxicity (KS F 2271) and full‑scale façade or core fire tests (KS F 8414 and related panel standards). These certifications demonstrate that the polyurethane core satisfies strict limits on heat release, flame spread and toxic gas generation.
PIUSYS incorporates ESG considerations through systems like GBS green binders, bio‑based or low‑VOC polyols, and solutions designed to reduce environmental load while maintaining performance in construction and infrastructure. The company also promotes polyurethane systems that contribute to energy savings and CO₂ reduction via high insulation efficiency and optimized formulations.
For custom PU systems, customers are typically asked to provide the intended application and process (spray, panel, molding, etc.), required physical properties and standards, production equipment conditions, target density and reactivity, and any environmental or certification requirements. With this information, PIUSYS can adjust polyol blends, isocyanate types, catalysts and additives to deliver a tuned system.
PIUSYS’s corporate research institute and technical support teams offer services such as on‑site trials, formulation optimization, quality troubleshooting, and joint development of new applications with customers. They support everything from lab‑scale development to production‑scale implementation, including testing, analysis and ongoing technical consultation.
The Korea headquarters focuses on core R&D, system design, raw‑material sourcing and global technology strategy, while the Vietnam corporation (VietPOL) handles localized production, technical service and sales for the Vietnamese market. PIUSYS also exports systems to other overseas customers as a polyurethane systems house, so international supply beyond Korea and Vietnam is possible.
